The second digigirl has appeared and that means it's time for a Digimon profile!  

Today we're discussing Vocamon, formerly Sora Takenouchi:

Vocamon is a pop idol digimon, with much of her data having been acquired from Vocaloids and pop music celebrity video tapes.  In her previous forms (assuming she had a history in the digital world), she was managed by Etemon to be a cute and sweet pop star.  However, as she grew she slowly grew rebellious, finally breaking off from Etemon in her ultimate stage.  In this, her mega stage, Vocamon has come into her own as a more mature pop idol, having become the sweetheart of many digimon.  Shoutmon in particular has become smitten with her and follows her wherever she goes, as she tours around the digital world, giving shows for her many fans.  Etemon has become her nemesis, attempting to sabotage her shows.  Unfortunately for him, Vocamon is far stronger than he gives her credit for and she beats him whenever he appears.

Though Vocamon is more of a lover than a fighter, she can still very much hold her own in a fight.  In battle, Vocamon uses her tail-mic to amplify her singing voice to a destructive force.  The most powerful, focused version of this technique is known as Sonic Love, where she shoots a heart shaped blast of sonic energy at an enemy , which is concentrated to hit them in their weakest points.  Fun fact: Sonic Love is also the name of Vocamon's top rated single.  When outnumbered or outgunned, Vocamon utilizes the hologram generators on her wrists to create solid light duplicates of herself through her Show Time technique, which are able to assist her in combat and can also be used as backup singers/dancers if her scheduled ones don't show up.  And finally, when brute force won't prevail, Vocamon can fall back on her Dance Magic technique to immobilize great swaths of enemies.  She performs a mystical dance that forces anyone who sees her to dance along with her.  This technique is also a great hit at her concerts as it allows her fans to really get into the performances and feel like they're part of it.
