The Beginning of the End?
Adamon's Plan!

Rika unfroze, opening her eyes, across the arena from her was some kind of strange creature.  She looked almost like a human, but with a cat's lower body and a tail.  "Who are you?"  Rika demanded.  
The creature smirked.  "I am Serenimon.  And I brought you here after killing your friends!"  She cackled.
Rika growled.  "What?  How!"  She demanded.  
Serenimon didn't reply, but simply leaped at the fox demon digimon with her sword.  Rika dodged the sword blow and retaliated with a yell of "Vulpine inferno!", catching the female warrior in the icy flame blast.
She stepped back in shock as there was a yell of "Power of love!" and the flames vanished, the girl surrounded by a blinding aura of light.
"What the..."  Rika said, before being hit by a giant ball of light, which slammed her against the wall.
The demon girl panted with pain as she stood up, barely avoiding a sword blow before lashing out with her Fox O' Nine Tails.  Serenimon met it with her whip, tangling up and yanking the flame whip out of VulpeDaemon's hand.
"Ha!  Your friends put up a better fight than this when I cut them apart!"  Serenimon taunted.  "You'll die without avenging them!"
Rika's eyes turned red and she growled.  "WRONG!"  She roared, morphing into her rage mode.  Serenimon stepped back and her eyes widened with shock.  Rika's brow furrowed.  That was odd.  Surely her enemy knew what she could do...
However, then her rage took over and she proceeded to pummel the sword wielding girl up and down the area, hurling her around like a godling before a hulk.  She raised her flaming fist to smash it into Serenimon's face when the girl's mouth opened.   "Wait!  Please don't!"  She said, although the words sounded sort of distorted to Rika's ears.  Rika stopped and frowned.  "YOU KILLED MY FRIENDS!"  She roared.
Serenimon looked confused.  "I don't know what you're talking about!  You said you killed my boyfriend!"
Rika stopped and then shrank back to normal size, staring down at the face of the digimon she had been fighting.  She offered her a hand.  "I think we've been tricked."  She said calmly.
Serenimon nodded, accepting the hand up.  "I'm thinking you're not actually a digimon, like me."  She asked.
Rika nodded.  "I'm Rika.  I was turned into this by a cursed ring.  I can't seem to figure out how to change back."
Serenimon nodded.  "I'm Yolei.  I got changed by a weird machine that fused me with a bunch of digimon and turned me into this."  She indicated her body.
Rika nodded.  "That's actually kind of cool."  She replied, before cocking an ear and frowning.  "I hear fighting."  She said, indicating the walls.  
Yolei lowered her visor and looked around.  "And I see heat signatures."  She replied, raising her visor.  "I think we may not be the only ones who've had our minds messed with."
Rika nodded.  "Let's go try to wake them up.  Try not to get hurt."  
Yolei smiled.  "Don't worry about me.  And I know you've got that big form, so I won't worry about you either."
Rika finally cracked a smile.  "I appreciate the confidence.  Once you break the mind control, let's meet back here and we can figure out what to do next."  She said, running over to the left wall and sinking her fingers into it, starting to climb up it.  Yolei ran in the other direction, leaping into the air and flying over.

Adamon, up in the VIP box, smiled, folding his fingers.  "Perfect."  He grinned.

Rika landed in an identical arena, looking at the two combatants.  There was a blue girl with wings, flying around and shooting sonic blasts at another girl, who was wearing an incredibly skimpy outfit and spinning around a rainbow pole to send whirlwinds at her opponent.  "Hey, you two!  Cut it out!"  She yelled.  The two of them looked down at her, looking confused, before charging.  Rika pointed at them both and yelled "Judgement chain!", causing flaming blue chains to wrap around the two and send them crashing to the ground.  Rika glared at them.  "Are you going to listen to me now?"
The blue one glared.  "I don't care if you're going to threaten me!  Just leave my friends alone!"
"Mine too!"  Added the rainbow haired, skimpy one.
Rika sighed.  "This brainwashing is really annoying."  She growled, before morphing into rage mode and seizing the two.  "JUST LISTEN TO ME PROPERLY FOR TEN SECONDS AND WE CAN WORK THIS OUT LIKE RATIONAL PEOPLE!"  She roared, which caused both girls' hair to blow back comically.
Both blinked and then stared at her.  "Wait, you didn't hurt my friends?"  The blue one asked, looking confused.
"Wait, you just said YOU were the one who killed my friends."  The rainbow haired one said, looking puzzled.  
Rika set the two down and shrank back to normal, before explaining the situation.  The other two nodded in understanding once she finished speaking.  "Ok, that makes sense, in a weird way."  The blue one said.  "I'm Sora, by the way."
The other one shrugged.  "I still don't really get it but it's pretty clear you're not evil."  She said.  "I'm Zoe."
Rika smiled with relief.  "And I'm Rika.  Come on, let's go back to the other arena.  We'll meet Yolei there and make a plan of counterattack against whoever captured us."  The other two nodded and Zoe conjured a gust of wind to carry Rika over the wall.

Meanwhile, Yolei landed on the other side of the wall and beheld a strange sight. What appeared to be a girl in a pirate costume with a tail and a variety of weapons was battling a plant/lizard girl who had a staff planted in the ground and was sending vines to attack the other girl.
Yolei looked back and forth between the two and then sighed.  She raised her whip.  "Calming lash!"  She announced, before accurately striking the two fighters, who instantly sank to the ground, breathing quietly.  She walked over to the two, avoiding the fallen vines, lest it wake the green one.  She placed her fingers on each of their heads in turn, using her empathy to remove the brainwashing before gently waking them.
They both awoke, looking confused.  "Wha...what happened?"  The green one murmured, rubbing her head.
The other one sat up quickly and drew her weapons.  "What?  Who are you?  Are you on her side?"
Yolei raised her hands.  "I'm on both your sides.  You've been tricked.  I don't think your friends are in danger, but whoever wanted us to fight put some kind of mind control on the two of you so you would fight.  I'm Yolei.  And you are?"
The green one smiled.  "I'm Yoshino, but my friends call me Yoshi."
The pirate still looked wary, but nodded.  "I'm Nene.  So you say someone did this to us?"
Yolei nodded.  "I suspect the same person is behind all of our transformations.  An entity named Adamon.  I suspect he kidnapped us here for some nefarious purpose, but I cannot fathom why he would have us fight."
Yoshi shook her head.  "I don't know either."
Nene put her sword away.  "Then let's go find him and make him tell us."  She said fiercely.
Yolei smiled.  "That's the plan.  Let's go meet up with Rika and see who she's found and then make a plan."
