Lab's Curse

Description

Thanks to :iconlockark: for the art!

Here's the reminder text for alter: At each upkeep you put an alter counter on the creature, until they have X alter counters on them, where X is the Alter number, at which point no more alter counters can be put on it by any means. If counters get knocked off, they start going on again. The only way to stop the morphing is a certain card from the set or knocking the enchantment off.

I'm back and here's the deal people. My partner in crime, Exeter, has gone missing. Which means it's me calling the shots on the art, the cards going up and the testing and publication of the set. AHAHAHAHA. Of course, I'm still as broke as before, so I'm relying on the generosity of various awesome artists on here (thank you Mr. Vorhias and Lockark!) for the art for the cards. If anyone else wants to contribute art or wants to do an art trade, I'm all ears.

Anyway, Lab's Curse is part of a cycle of enchantments, each referring to a location in the world, that experimented with the Alter mechanic. Unfortunately, every single card with Alter is a giant block of text. Nothing I could do about it. Apart from scrapping the mechanic and that sure as hell wasn't going to happen.

In this particular card, the enchanted creature is cursed by a vampire (each card invovles the person getting cursed by something or someone) and gradually transforms into a sexy female vampire. Pretty fun. Too slow to be tournament worthy, but perhaps good limited filler.

lol:P this card's concept is very cool! But just like you said, it's a bit of a hassle to have to use so much text in order for the ability to work...
